The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework NEA and project-based learning
Encouraging innovation problem-solving and creative design thinking
Maintaining high standards of health and safety within workshops
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
