Job Summary
An oversubscribed and high-achieving secondary school in Banbury is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its successful Performing Arts department as soon as possible. The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with performance composition and exam preparation
Contributing to concerts ensembles and school productions
Encouraging confidence creativity and musical expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in performance composition and theory
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
