The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with performance composition and exam preparation
Contributing to concerts ensembles and school productions
Encouraging confidence creativity and musical expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in performance composition and theory
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
