The Role
Leading and managing the Design & Technology department across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Driving high standards of teaching learning and assessment
Overseeing curriculum development and examination outcomes
Supporting and mentoring departmental staff
Managing workshops resources and health & safety compliance
Contributing to whole-school leadership and enrichment initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A degree in Design & Technology or a closely related subject
Proven experience teaching DT at secondary level
Previous leadership experience within a DT department
A strong track record of raising standards and improving outcomes
Excellent organisational communication and leadership skills
