Job Summary

Role Overview
Seeking an SAP S/4HANA specialist with a strong accounting background who has transitioned into IT. This person will act as the go-to expert for SAP financial systems and architecture.

Project & Responsibilities

Recently launched an SAP S/4HANA implementation (1824 month project timeline).
Need someone with strong system experience to design the new trial balance structure and code block within SAP.
Must be able to work with SAP T-codes investigate system issues and execute fixes.
Support migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANAthis person will have a seat at the table in the migration process.

Functional Responsibilities

Current role focuses on financial reporting and managing all intercompany relationships.
Must understand complex legal entity structures and how they drive accounting entries.
- Example:
  - US company owns IP (e.g. Hunger Games).
  - UK entity licenses IP from US entity and pays royalties.
  - UK entity distributes content to various broadcasters in the UK France Germany etc.
  - All intercompany revenue/expense recognition must be properly set up in SAP so that eliminations occur correctly during consolidation.
This role will build and maintain intercompany relationships in SAP so that entities offset appropriately and consolidated results reflect only third-party activity.

Must-Haves

Experience with monthly and quarterly consolidations.
Background working with multiple divisionse.g. TV studio (unscripted/series) motion picture film divisions.
Ability to create and manage company codes and consolidate results into a single Lionsgate income statement and balance sheet.
Strong problem-solving skills within SAP financial systems; able to troubleshoot and design system solutions.
Supervisory experience one direct report (Director level).
