Job Summary
Mechanical Project Engineer oversees the full lifecycle of mechanical systems and equipment from design and development to installation and testing ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to specifications. They analyze requirements create CAD models coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering: Create analyze and test mechanical systems components or prototypes using CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD).
Project Management: Plan project schedules define scopes manage budgets and ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance regulations.
Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams vendors and clients to ensure effective project execution and communication.
Problem Solving: Investigate equipment failures troubleshoot issues and provide technical support (pre- and post-sales).
Documentation: Prepare technical reports manuals and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Typically 15 years of experience in project engineering or related manufacturing/construction roles.
Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation.
Strong project management communication and leadership skills.
