Designation: Senior Accounts Executive
Location: GhatkoparMumbai
ROLE OVERVIEW
This position will be responsible for the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. The candidate will handle the day-to-day general accounting operations. He/She will also ensure that the systems and procedures are in place to support overall organizational goals and conduct flawless audits.
Major Responsibilities:
Handling general accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and taxes.
Preparing various financial reports including balance sheets income statements cash flow statements and budgets.
Responsible for accurate and timely closure and finalization of accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of taxes and making all legal compliances including GST TDS Income Tax Profession Tax Provident Fund ESIC and any other statutory compliance. While there are consultants for every compliance function the responsibility will be to liaise with them and ensure that the compliance is done well within the timelines.
Cash management accounting for bank transactions and monthly BRS.
Responsible for payroll processing.
Processing of payments to Vendors consultants and staff. Creditors aging and ledger confirmations of the balances.
Liaise and coordinate with external Company Secretary consultant for timely board meetings minutes of the meetings and other statutory compliances including filing of returns accounts and other relevant forms and returns
Handling external audit requirements and being the primary point of contact between external auditors and the organization.
Support the Management in all aspects of financial accounting reporting systems procedures and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: / / Degree in Finance or accounting or its equivalent
Work Experience:
3 years of relevant general accounting experience
Thorough knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Office.
Knowledge of International Taxation and FEMA will be preferred.
Demonstrates process improvement initiatives and an affinity for innovative tools and technology
Skills:
