Job Summary
Civil (OHL / SS)
- Develop and review civil engineering designs for overhead line structures and substation facilities.
- Conduct site assessments and geotechnical evaluations to inform foundation and structural designs.
- Coordinate with electrical mechanical and environmental teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation drawings and specifications in compliance with industry standards.
- Manage design changes review shop drawings and conduct quality assurance checks.
- Support procurement activities by providing technical input on materials and construction methods.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve site-related civil engineering issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations environmental guidelines and project schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in civil design for OHL and/or substation projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and civil design software (e.g. AutoCAD MicroStation Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of structural design principles foundation engineering and geotechnical considerations.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. IEC IEEE local regulatory requirements).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
