Job Summary

Bradley David Associates is looking for an experienced Import Traffic Coordinator to support daily import operations and ensure the smooth handling of freight from arrival through final delivery. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional with strong drayage and terminal coordination experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify bill of lading numbers piece counts and container numbers against arrival notices and delivery orders.
Ensure shipments are released and available for pickup from ports terminals or rail yards.
Dispatch shipments to carriers for final delivery and confirm receipt of delivery orders in writing.
Coordinate customs examinations including processing payments when required.
Communicate any delays or issues to Customer Service to ensure proactive client updates.

Requirements

Minimum of 23 years of experience in import traffic freight forwarding or drayage operations.
Strong understanding of port/rail operations delivery orders and container movement processes.
Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven setting.

Required Skills:

Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the logistics or oil & gas industry. Solid understanding of project logistics freight forwarding and supply chain operations particularly in energy or industrial sectors. Strong experience in client engagement contract negotiation and solution selling. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Logistics Engineering or a related field.
