Job Summary
Hiring for Correctional Social Workers (LCSW). Location: Leavenworth KS - $2700/week. For quick submissions reach out directly at . An additional $500 completion bonus is provided on the last paycheck. Position Details: 13-week contract with Possible extensions.
- Schedule/Shift: Days but must have open availability to work.
Compensation for Travelers (40hrs/week):
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2700/week.
- Taxable Weekly Pay: $1200/week W2 Rate: $30/hr.
- Non-Taxable Weekly Pay: $1500/week.
Job Details and Requirements:
- 5 years of clinical and 2 years of job-related experience.
- Active BLS and KS state LCSW LPC or LMFT.
- COVID Flu vaccinated or exemptions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provides treatment to inmates by developing implementing and modifying individual treatment plans based on an evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for individuals in the caseload.
- Provides appropriate mental health assessments counseling and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.
