Role Overview:
The Brand Manager will spearhead the expansion of the assigned portfolio across Malaysia. You will be the primary driver behind introducing fresh innovations to the market while simultaneously scaling the performance of established high-demand product lines through creative promotional strategies and high-impact advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and roll out comprehensive marketing blueprints covering both immediate tactical wins and long-term brand positioning.
- Oversee the full P&L for assigned products managing the promotional budget (A&P) with a focus on maximizing return on investment and maintaining precise sales projections.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and consumer behavior to provide the leadership team with data-backed growth recommendations.
- Lead the localization of creative assets and ensure all in-store activations and promotional materials are executed with precision and within compliance.
- Partner closely with internal team to align marketing efforts with inventory management and supply chain capacity.
- Direct the activities of creative agencies event firms and research vendors to ensure project milestones are hit efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of tenure in brand management or senior marketing roles with a history of hitting targets during complex product rollouts.
- Strong preference for those with a background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Retail Healthcare.
- A university degree in Marketing Economics or Business Administration.
- The ability to communicate fluently in English Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is essential for managing local stakeholders.
- Highly skilled in interpreting complex data and proficient in advanced office software for reporting and analysis.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in high-pressure rapid-growth environments and possesses the soft skills to manage diverse internal and external relationships
