- Chairside assist
- Obtain update review and enter patient medical histories in the electronic health record
- Take patient X-rays and preliminary impressions
- Prepare patients for visit arranges instruments and prepares dental materials for treatment/procedure
- Perform four-handed dentistry
- Prepare and clean operatories
- Sterilize instruments
- Perform expanded functions as directed and required for patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team
- Demonstrate ability to provide care or service by adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level of the population being served
- Other duties as assigned
