Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a highly talented Mechanical Piping Engineer to be based in the Romania Enterprise Capabilities Office in Bucharest. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules as outlined below.

The successful candidate will work full-time with a highly talented team in the USA (Remotely). Fuel System Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to our commitment to improving industrial and maintenance This role is based out of our Bucharest office with hybrid work permitted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial processes (Oil & Gas petrochemical).

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to develop within and further the technical skills we bring to our new and existing client base.

Qualified candidates will have a familiarity with design aspects for heavy industrial clients.

Here is what you will do:

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creates designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
  • Applies education training and knowledge to perform typical assignments.

Team Collaboration:

  • Having the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with responsibility conscientiousness rigor in carrying out the tasks and self-motivated.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or similar field.
  • Fuel system process/piping engineering and/or oil and gas/water design experience.
  • Have experience in 2D (AutoCAD) or MicroStation (Bentley) and 3D modeling systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit will be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of P&IDs.
  • Ability to interface with other disciplines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering 
  • Have 1-2 Years of experience in 2D (AutoCAD) or MicroStation (Bentley) and 3D modeling systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit will be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of P&IDs.
  • Basic understanding of equipment and piping specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of pipe supports design.
  • Willingness to assimilate new software and specific general knowledge.
