Job Summary
The Embedded C/C Software Engineer will join a global product development team and contribute to building software solutions for automotive diagnostic tools. The role focuses on developing software that communicates directly with vehicle systems with strong exposure to Android-based embedded environments.
Role description:
Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C for automotive diagnostic devices
Work on software running on Android-based embedded platforms
Implement and maintain communication with vehicle systems using diagnostic protocols
Contribute to functionalities that read and interpret data from vehicles
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in low-level environments
Collaborate with QA engineers and field testers to ensure high-quality delivery
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
Work in an Agile environment (Scrum/Scrumban) within an international team
Ensure performance stability and reliability of the software solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in software development
Strong C/C programming skills
Proven experience with embedded systems
Experience working with Android (embedded / low-level interaction)
Experience in the automotive domain
Hands-on experience with diagnostic communication protocols (e.g. CAN UDS DoIP)
Nice to have:
Experience with multi-threading or concurrent programming
Familiarity with version control systems (Git Bitbucket)
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Experience working in distributed/international teams
Experience with debugging and performance optimization in embedded environments
