The Role
Leading and managing the schools SEND provision across KS3 and KS4
Overseeing EHCPs support plans and statutory processes
Coordinating interventions and monitoring pupil progress
Line managing and supporting teaching assistants and support staff
Working closely with parents external agencies and senior leaders
Promoting inclusive teaching strategies across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
The National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it)
Proven experience working with pupils with SEND in a secondary setting
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A compassionate proactive and solution-focused approach
