The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism and experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with practical work investigations and exam preparation
Encouraging scientific enquiry analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Science department
Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a Science subject or a closely related field
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge in Biology Chemistry or Physics
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
