Job Summary
A prestigious independent school in Berkshire is seeking a creative and dedicated Photography Teacher to join its Art & Design department from April 2026. The Role
Teaching Photography across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework portfolio development and exam preparation
Teaching digital photography camera techniques and image editing
Encouraging creativity critical analysis and independent artistic expression
Contributing to exhibitions displays and wider enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A degree in Photography Art & Design or a related subject
Experience teaching Photography at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
