The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Leading on teaching and learning within the Science department
Supporting curriculum development and assessment strategies
Coaching and mentoring colleagues to drive high standards
Using data effectively to raise attainment and close gaps
Contributing to whole-school improvement initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a Science subject or closely related field
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level
A strong track record of excellent classroom practice
Experience supporting colleagues or leading initiatives within a department
High expectations for pupil achievement and professional standards
