Job Title: Scrum Master and Project Manager

Duration: 6 months Contract

Location: Plano TX

Pay Rate: $80 hourly

RM Notes:

Hybrid Onsite at Plano TX HQ Mon-Thu.

Supports delivery across 4 5 Agile teams within the Cybersecurity Portfolio.

Will act as a hands on Scrum Master and Project Manager responsible for ensuring project visibility team performance and alignment of delivery activities across multiple teams.

Must have Strong Agile / Scrum experience (5 7 years preferred; flexibility for strong Agile practitioners).

Must have experience functioning as a Scrum Master and Project Manager simultaneously.

Experience managing multiple Agile delivery teams (4 teams preferred).

Hands on experience with Sprint planning agile ceremonies team velocity tracking Daily project cadence and cross team coordination and Big room planning.

Strong proficiency with Jira (tracking reporting board health).

Ability to prepare and deliver executive level reporting and presentations.

Strong Excel skills (reporting/analysis).

Experience supporting Cybersecurity / Information Security projects.

Nice to have: Direct experience working in a CyberSec or InfoSec environment PMP or CSM certification.

Interview Process: Two virtual interview rounds on Microsoft Teams 30 minutes each.

Project Manager/Scrum master who will work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of the projects across several functions.

You will also be responsible for conducting agile ceremonies and collaborating with team members to develop and refine the detailed project roadmap managing the product backlog and ensuring teams are aligned on delivery priorities

What youll be doing

Project Delivery: Manage the daily project cadence and agile ceremonies ensuring the product backlog is refined and progress is made according to the timeline.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify document and manage the projects risks and issues. Take proactive corrective actions to mitigate risks remove the roadblocks and keep delivery performance on track.

Project Monitoring & Status Reporting Provide different levels of reporting on Information Security project delivery performance (Timeline Budget Scope and Risks & Issues) to all stakeholders.

Process Improvement - Offer solutions to solve for project inefficiencies and process improvements within the teams. Bring fresh ideas to improve new ways of working. Act as a knowledgeable resource to other teams to share delivery best-practices and propose remediation techniques for at-risk deliverables. Contribute to repository of lessons learned. Provide up-skilling project training back to the team.

Technology Tools Effectively utilize agile tools such as Jira Confluence and Trello in addition to Microsoft suite to manage the project effectively.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality and on time delivery of statement of work. Manage tracking the SOW deliverables and on time invoicing.

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):

Progressive years of Agile work experience (5-7 years).

Product owner/ Scrum master experience working with Agile teams.

Experience leading local and/or remote IT project teams through software development lifecycle (5-7 years).

Experience in business planning resource allocation budgeting and risk management.

Excellent communication problem-solving and analytical skills.
