Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Clerk with experience handling confidential medical information to support Workers Compensation operations. This role involves administrative clerical and document-management duties requiring strong organization professionalism and strict attention to privacy and confidentiality. Training will be provided on internal processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities

Answer Workers Compensation phone line and route messages appropriately

Email staff regarding messages requiring follow-up

Pick up open sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

Organize alphabetize and track medical bills and invoices by employee and facility
-
Identify and monitor duplicate bills and invoices
-
File medical bills and medications securely for staff processing
-
Scan label name and upload documents into the system

Properly dispose of scanned documents

Respond to online billing inquiries

Download and send records to outside counsel

Track and maintain office supplies
Required Skills & Experience

2 years of medical billing experience (required)

2 years of professional phone and email communication experience

Experience using scanners file naming and document uploads (1 year)

Ability to alphabetize sort and manage high-volume paperwork

Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (2 years)
