As a member of the Drafting team within the Energy division your duties include:
- Prepare Plot Plans PFDs P&IDs piping plans and details isometrics material takeoffs and tie-in details etc. according to engineering specifications and client requirements under the direction and supervision of a more senior designer.
- Demonstrates skill in producing and updating P&IDs.
- Responsible for drafting quality control and interface with other disciplines.
- Responsible for keeping up with industry updates and current software as well as internal processes.
- Contribute to special projects (eg. internal drafting standards) as available or assigned.
Qualifications :
- 2 year Technical degree or diploma from a recognized educational institution.
- 1-2 years of experience with an Engineering firm in oil and gas or energy related industries is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel to field locations may be required from time to time.
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable facilitating multiple projects in a demanding environment with a willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be a self starter with the ability to take direction from more experienced designers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D considered an asset.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit considered an asset.
