The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct Phase I/II ESAs and Remediations both to CSA and . 153/04 Standards;
- Conduct sampling and reporting associated with Excess Soils project (. 406/19);
- Conduct fieldwork and reporting associated with Hydrogeological Assessments including but not limited to infiltration testing single-well response tests and groundwater sampling;
- Perform fieldwork and reporting associated with major projects including nation-builder infrastructure jobs across the province;
- Travel and/or work nights and weekends occasionally as required; and
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Qualifications :
The successful candidate must possess:
- Post-secondary education in environmental science engineering biology or a related field;
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in environmental consulting with proven proficiency in Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments hydrogeological assessments and/or excess soils projects;
- Technical knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 Ontario Regulation 406/19 and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) guidelines;
- Demonstrated competency in fieldwork execution including sampling protocols groundwater assessment techniques and infiltration testing;
- Excellent technical report writing note-taking and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance;
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel;
- Strong communication and coordination abilities; and
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments.
