About the Opportunity
The University of Wollongong is seeking a committed and studentfocused Student Careers Officer to join the Careers and Strategic Partnerships team within the Academic Services this role you will deliver highquality career development learning and employability support through individual consultations workshops and programs helping students build confidence and clarity in their career pathways. You will also contribute to the development and improvement of resources and initiatives that reflect contemporary best practice in career development and labour market trends.
Working closely with the Team Leader Student Careers Services you will collaborate with colleagues across the division and faculties to ensure seamless service delivery and effective information sharing.
About You
You will bring a relevant degree or equivalent experience along with strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills. You are confident working with students from diverse backgrounds and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism and care. Your understanding of higher education employability and curriculumintegrated career development will enable you to provide informed practical guidance. You are organised collaborative and comfortable using data systems to support engagement and reporting. Above all you demonstrate a commitment to inclusive culturally respectful practice and a genuine interest in supporting student success.
The successful candidate will be required to submit a valid Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
