Early Careers Graduate Recruitment National Manager (12 month fixed-term contract)

As a National Manager youll be a part of our Early Careers Team and be based in any of our Australian offices (Brisbane Melbourne Perth and Sydney). Youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Firm by identifying and attracting future talent particularly our Clerks and Graduates.
You will lead our recruitment efforts across the country and will be responsible for designing and executing recruitment strategies with a specific focus on early careers and national-level recruitment initiatives.
As an Early Careers / Graduate National Manager your role will include:
Recruitment Strategies: Developing and aligning recruitment strategies with firm goals including targeted early careers programs to attract entry-level talent and oversee national recruitment initiatives for a consistent candidate experience.
Stakeholder management: Collaborating with internal stakeholders including partners and People & Development Team to understand hiring needs and ensure recruitment efforts align with business objectives across all offices.
Talent Pipelines: Building and maintaining relationships with universities and industry organisations to establish a robust talent pipeline implementing innovative approaches to attract and engage early career professionals.
Technology and Data: Advocating for and leveraging recruitment technologies to streamline processes enhance the candidate experience and analyse metrics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Employer Branding: Enhancing the Firms employer brand through targeted marketing and communication strategies with the support of the Employer Brand Team and the broader Marketing & Client Services team.
Project management: Coordinating team resources for effective project management ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects to the desired quality.
People management: Managing the National Early Careers Team by aligning strategies setting objectives providing coaching addressing development needs implementing proactive performance management and developing retention strategies.
This is a full-time or 0.8FTE maximum term contract for an initial period of 12 months to cover parental leave. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.
About you
You will have:
Experience recruiting ideally at a law firm within professional services or similar complex environment ideally within an Early Careers recruitment environment.
People leadership experience.
Knowledge and implementation of best practice recruitment methodologies and practices.
Analytical and reporting capabilities would be highly regarded.
Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
An ability to establish a professional profile and internal networks.
An ability to bring fresh ideas and new ways to go to market to the team. A desire to learn grow network mentor others.
