Job Summary
We are inviting applications for the role of Breakfast Chef at our Canopy Restaurant in Castlemartyr Resort.
The successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and a genuine passion for food and delivering quality.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work well in a team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Be reliable committed and professional with a positive attitude to work.
- Desire to progress their career.
Personal Qualities
- Ability to show a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
- Prepare and produce breakfast meals and preparation work for any other section to which you are assigned.
- Prepare staff meals varied and nutritional for the staff restaurant.
- Adhere to Food Hygiene and HACCP Regulations.
- Operate all kitchen standard equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work efficiently and be environmentally conscious to minimise waste.
- Report any faults in equipment fixtures and fittings to Chef or Supervisor.
- Carry out cleaning and ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to.
