Internal Sales Assistant Johannesburg (JHB) - Salary R20 000
A well-established company based at their Johannesburg facility is looking for a confident and detail-driven Internal Sales Assistant to join their Sales Team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the quoting converting customer service and admin-heavy side of sales and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming and outgoing sales calls
- Preparing and managing quotations (including pricing availability and delivery timelines)
- Converting quotes into confirmed orders and processing orders accurately
- Managing customer service queries complaints returns and invoice queries
- Liaising internally with departments such as Sales Procurement Logistics and Production
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring reliable feedback
- Providing admin support to the external sales team (samples paperwork appointments etc.)
- General internal sales and office administration support
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years internal sales experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong administration skills (this is a key part of the role)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Word Excel Outlook)
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
