A Day in the Life
Based in our Wellington office this full-time role partners closely with stakeholders to drive performance and support embrace a flexible hybrid model combining in-office collaboration with the freedom to work from snapshot of your day:
- Partner with business leaders to shape financial plans budgets and forecasts aligned to strategy.
- Delivertimelyperformance insights including month-end analysis and commentarylinked tokey business drivers.
- Support decision-makingby utilising your Excel skillsto createscenario analysis financial modelling and ad-hocinsights.
- Challenge assumptions andprovidecommercial guidance to improve performance and decision quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial outcomes with business priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning andreportingenhancing accuracyandefficiency.
Your Strengths
- Relevant qualification in businesscommerceor finance;CA/CPA (completed or in progress) highly regarded.
- Background in commercial finance with a desire to build capability in business partnering.
- Strong analyticalskills tointerpret financial dataidentifytrends and uncoverimprovementopportunities.
- Advanced Excel skillsincludingbuilding and interpretingfinancial models(P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Excellent communication and influencing skillstranslatinginsights into clear actionable recommendations.
