Job Summary

About the role:
The Sponsorship and Events Manager is responsible for managing and developing TMHAs sponsorship and events programs. A key focus is building and maintaining productive relationships with sponsors and ensuring TMHA is exhibited and represented in the most professional light and commensurate with its standing as Australias leading material handling company. This incumbent is also highly B2B driven and looks to maximise all new sales opportunities across TMHA sponsored entities and their network of partners.
Please note this is a full-time fixed term contract with a duration of 12 months. This role will be based 5 days per week on-site in our head office in Moorebank NSW 2170.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish manage and maintain relationships with existing sponsors / partners including Canberra Raiders Essendon ALW Australian Turf Club Team 18 Racing Toyota Outblacks Fruit and Vegetable Markets Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds SCLAA LAA RWTA Melanoma Institute Australia plus others as required
- Promote TMHA to sponsors/partners to increase brand presence and deliver quantifiable sales opportunities back to TMHAs corporate major and retail sales team
- Maintain regular contact with key organisational sponsors arranging regular meetings with the representatives
- Manage the events strategy that has relevance for TMHA and promotes TMHA in the most professional light possible at all sponsor events
- In collaboration with TMHA staff and branches manage the participation of TMHA staff and branches at TMHA sponsor events including roster development uniforms and promotional materials
- Manage TMHA social media presence of sponsorships and events along with any media requirements
- Management TMHA relationship with stand builders events companies and transport companies as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree qualification in Marketing PR Communication and Media or similar
- Proven experience in sponsorship management partnerships events management or a related marketing/business development role.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with sponsors partners and key stakeholders.
- Strong event planning and execution experience including managing multiple events suppliers logistics and on-site delivery.
- Ability to manage sponsorship and event budgets meet financial targets
- Experience coordinating marketing communications and promotional materials for events and sponsorships.
