Were on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the The Bell Bar and Bistro buzzing and loved by the locals.
Join the leadership team at The Bell Bar & Bistro Darwins premier destination for craft beer modern dining and great fun. Were looking for a sharp Assistant Manager to drive the energy in our stylish Bellamack local -overseeing everything from our 20 taps and innovative wine list to our high-volume bistro and family zones.
If youre a hospitality pro who excels in a fast-paced fresh and polished environment this is your chance to lead a local icon.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
