Job Summary

SH-832- Helpdesk Data Entry Analyst Indiana. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused to support the integrity functionality and user support of the immunization information system. This role is critical to ensuring accurate immunization records resolving data issues and providing technical assistance to healthcare providers public health partners and internal users. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills professionalism and a commitment to data accuracy and public health support.

Key Responsibilities User Support & Communication
  • Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers public health agencies and internal users regarding immunization records system functionality and access issues.

  • Provide clear guidance and support to users on best practices for data entry record management and system use.

  • Communicate professionally and effectively via phone email and ticketing systems.

Data Integrity & Record Management
  • Investigate and resolve duplicate patient records and incorrect record merges within the immunization registry.

  • Utilize data tools reports and matching algorithms to identify analyze and correct data integrity issues.

  • Ensure immunization records are accurate complete and compliant with applicable data standards and policies.

Documentation & Compliance
  • Document all support interactions actions taken and resolutions in the designated ticketing system.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with agency requirements and data governance standards.

  • Adhere to confidentiality privacy and security requirements related to protected health information (PHI).

System Support & Quality Assurance
  • Assist in testing system updates enhancements and fixes to ensure functionality and data accuracy.

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams and leadership to support continuous system improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications Communication Skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly professionally and effectively with technical and non-technical users.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong ability to analyze data discrepancies identify root causes and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

Technical Aptitude
  • Experience working with databases registries or data systems; familiarity with data matching or validation tools preferred.

Attention to Detail
  • High level of accuracy when reviewing correcting and documenting patient and immunization records.

Organizational Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Service Orientation
  • Professional patient-focused approach when supporting healthcare providers and public health partners.
