Job Summary

Data Support Analyst (Expert Level)
Location: Spring TX (100% Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer / Expert Data Support Analyst to design develop and support enterprise-level business intelligence solutions while partnering closely with business stakeholders and analytics teams. This role focuses on delivering scalable high-performance dashboards supporting power users and driving best practices in analytics engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI including advanced dashboards and reports.
Develop complex DAX measures calculated tables and optimized data models (fact/dimension design relationships hierarchies).
Utilize Power Query for data transformation and integration from multiple sources.
Collaborate with product owners advisors and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights.
Facilitate user training demos and testing sessions with power users and business teams.
Investigate and troubleshoot data model gaps booking practice issues and analytics discrepancies.
Support flat file handling data mappings and validation/quality control activities.
Partner with visualization specialists and self-service analytics users leveraging tools such as Tableau Alteryx Excel and Access.
Represent the delivery team in stakeholder and power-user meetings as needed.

Required Skills

Expert-level Power BI experience (Advanced DAX data modeling Power Query dashboard design).
Experience with SAP HANA 2.0.
Intermediate SQL (joins aggregations subqueries window functions pivoting null handling).
Experience with Tableau or Power BI (mandatory).
Strong analytical troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

Snowflake experience.
Exposure to enterprise BI governance and benefit-capture processes.
