QAQC Lead (Scan to BIM – Industrial Facilities)

• Plant modelling
• Exposure to brownfield and as-built requirements using 3D laser Scanning for Data capture.
• Ability to interpret industrial point clouds with dense machinery & services
• Familiarity with production equipment utilities pipe racks equipment clearances and plant room layouts.

Technical Skills:

• Hands on expertise with Revit () Navisworks Manage Dynamo ReCap and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of LOD 300/350 industrial asset modeling and multi discipline coordination.
• Knowledge of IFC MVDs DWG layer mapping JSON export definitions and SAP RE FX workflows.
• Ability to interpret dense industrial point clouds.

BIM Quality Framework & Standards

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures aligned to project templates naming rules shared parameters and LOD 300/350 requirements.
• Validate adherence to Shared Coordinates Survey Points GNP/WNP and the approved coordinate strategy.
• Maintain gate checklists for WIP Shared Published transitions.

Model & Data Quality Audits

• Conduct detailed audits of model health (warnings links worksets file size naming compliance).
• Verify CSA MEP geometry accuracy against point cloud tolerances.
• Check correctness of Rooms Areas (GFA/NIA/Rentable) Area Boundaries and SAP attributes.

Automation-Based QA

• Run and review outputs of Dynamo QC scripts (parameter completeness naming tests clash checks area validation).
• Validate correct execution of automation (SAP RE FX add in Dynamo Player workflows).

Interoperability & Export QA

• Review and approve IFC DWG JSON exports for MVD compliance correct layer mappings and client-specific export configurations.
• Ensure exported data aligns with SAP RE FX requirements and required space standards.

Issue Management

• Lead resolution of technical issues including shared coordinate errors family misuse incorrect LOD/geometry script failures and export inconsistencies.
• Organize red flag meetings with BIM Coordinators and Discipline Leads.

Team & Client Coordination

• Provide feedback to modelers Senior BIM Engineers and MEP teams on QA findings.
• Report QA metrics observations and improvements to the Technical Project Manager and client BIM representatives.
