Summary of the Role
Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead who lives and breathes software development and takes real pride in building great products. This role goes beyond writing code youll set technical direction mentor a team of engineers and serve as the bridge between engineering and product. This is ideal for someone who doesnt just implement requirements but truly partners with the business to solve meaningful customer problems. Youll have significant ownership a strong voice in technical decisions and the opportunity to shape how our product and engineering culture evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain highquality scalable software using C# .
- Serve as Tech Lead for a team of engineers setting technical direction running code reviews and raising the quality bar across the codebase.
- Partner with product managers designers and stakeholders to break down complex problems into clear executable engineering plans.
- Mentor and grow engineers on the team through handson guidance thoughtful feedback and leading by example.
- Advocate for clean architecture maintainable code and engineering best practices and hold the team accountable to them.
- Challenge assumptions and propose better solutions when something doesnt feel right.
- Own projects endtoend from technical scoping and architecture through delivery iteration and incident response.
- Contribute to hiring and team growth by participating in technical interviews and helping shape engineering culture.
What Were Looking For
- 8 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a Tech Lead or senior technical leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in C# and ecosystem.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams setting direction running code reviews and mentoring engineers at varying levels.
- A customerfirst mindset you focus on outcomes not just blindly coding to specs.
- Strong opinions backed by experience youre comfortable challenging ideas and pushing for the best solution.
- A relentless drive to deliver impossible isnt in your vocabulary.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a distributed team with reliable overlap during 9 AM 2 PM US Central Time.
- A strong engineering or computer science foundation or a selftaught background paired with a genuine passion for software development.
