The Opportunity:

The Corporate Affairs Advisor supports the coordination and delivery of corporate affairs initiatives across ADSS. As a key member of a central team this role provides strategic frameworks guidance and expert advice to the business. It sets parameters and offers direction across all aspects of corporate affairs to help achieve the organisations strategic objectives in a coordinated manner. The position is integral to shaping the companys reputation brand and market position.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity and can be based in either Adelaide Canberra Melbourne Sydney Brisbane or Perth.

The successful candidate must be eligible to hold a AGSVA security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials
  • Support and build KBRs brand and market positioning through clear guidance on brand identity and messaging in accordance with KBRs visual and written style guides
  • Manage core suite of communications tactics to build familiarity with the audience and ensure content aligns with campaign strategies
  • Translate complex information into clear engaging and audience appropriate content
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an updated repository of written and visual assets including company information messaging documents standard bid material case studies and other marketing materials for future use
  • Support the management and use of the customer relationship matrix and planner.
  • Monitor geo-political environment media and public policy to understand potential implications for the business.
  • Prioritise workload to routinely meet negotiated deadlines and ensure internal needs are satisfied.
  • Meet internal requirements for processes such as document control
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation in support of One KBR
  • Assist any additional assignments as required including support of growth marketing and communications activities

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • 5 years in corporate communications stakeholder engagement or government relations or proven relevant competency
  • Experience working with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Project management and multitasking under pressure.
  • Proficiency in digital platforms and content creation tools.

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
