Job Summary
- Multiple full time permanent positions
Sydney Water isseekingmultipleSenior Advisorsto deliver community and stakeholder engagement services for Sydney Waters major projectsand regional programsacross SydneysNorth SouthandWest regions.
This role is heavily focusedonthe effective development and delivery of community and stakeholder engagement plans forprojects in the Infrastructure Delivery business unit.
You will ensure the successful development and delivery of projects and programs in the eyes ofour communities andstakeholders byworking with project teamsprovidingbest-practiceengagement strategiccommunications issues managementandoversightofour communityengagementcontractorsand partners.
What you will be doing
- Develop and delivercommunication and engagement strategies with supporting collateralto promote projects protect reputation manageissuesand deliver successful programs.
- Build andmaintaineffective and influential relationships across all stakeholder segments including community private sector government agencies internal and customer.
- Respond to escalated complaintsenquiriesand feedback from a variety of channels and oversee complaint response by partners.
- Coordinate and organise community engagement events including coordinatinglogisticsacross various locations preparation of run sheetsandpresentations.
About you
- Degree qualifications in communications marketing public relations community engagementis highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement stakeholderengagementor corporate affairs in a complex environment.
- A strong understanding of the complexity of infrastructure projects in the planning and delivery stages and associated community and stakeholder plansrequiredfor projects of a larger size.
- Sound planning influencing negotiation facilitation and issues and crisis management skills.
- Experienceworking on the planning and delivery ofinfrastructure projectsis desired.
