Senior Associate AR Cash Applications (Advertiser Billing)
Role Summary
TheSenior Associate AR Cash Applicationssupports Accounts Receivable operations by managinghigh-volume customer cash applicationrelated toadvertiser billing and digital media spend. The role plays a critical part in ensuringtimelyandaccurateapplication of customer payments resolving unapplied cash and addressing discrepancies arising frommedia owner bills agency structures and sequential-liability billing models.
This role works closely withBilling O2C Media Finance and external advertisers/agenciesto ensure cash is appliedcorrectlyand downstream disputes are minimized.
Key Responsibilities
Apply customer payments accurately across multiple payment channels (ACH wire lockbox) includingadvertiser and agency payments.
Research and resolveunapplied and misapplied cash short-payments and deductions.
Manage cash application complexities driven bymediaownerbillingmake-goods credits and sequential-liability arrangements.
Coordinate with Billing O2C and Media Finance teams to resolve discrepancies between invoices media owner bills and customer remittances.
Supportaging unapplied cash reporting and DSO improvement initiatives.
Perform reconciliations between bank statements AR sub-ledger and general ledger.
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to payment status and cash application.
Supportmonth-endclose audit requests and SOX control requirements.
Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
5years of experience inAccounts Receivable or Cash Applications.
Strong understanding ofAR sub-ledger cash application and reconciliations.
Experience withadvertiserbilling agency payments or media-related ARpreferred.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and lockbox platforms.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Experienceoperatinginhigh-volume exception-driven environments
