Job Summary

The Sr. Finance Controller -
ccounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing the complete financial management statutory compliance plant finance operations internal controls and reporting functions across the organization and its group companies. This role is critical in ensuring financial discipline accurate reporting and strong governance within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must be a qualified CA with strong exposure to plant finance costing audits and regulatory compliances.

Financial Control & Reporting
Oversee all financial control activities including review and analysis of monthly & quarterly financials disclosures
and audit schedules.
Prepare and publish timely monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Provide management with accurate MIS dashboards and financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Summarize budget trends identify deficiencies and report variances with corrective recommendations.
Maintain accurate and reliable books of accounts covering assets liabilities capital reserves revenues and expenditures.

Plant Finance Management
Lead plant finance operations including cost control inventory valuation production accounting and
scrap/wastage analysis.
Ensure proper stock management physical verification processes and reporting of inventory ageing and variances
Coordinate with plant teams for cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Statutory Compliance & Audit Management
Ensure strict adherence to all compliance requirements including GST Income Tax TDS PF/ESI (if applicable) and other statutory obligations.
Prepare documentation for statutory audits internal audits tax audits and government assessments.
Represent the company during GST audits IT assessments departmental enquiries and handle litigation matters professionally.
Attend and respond to all queries raised by external and internal auditors.

Treasury Cash Flow & Banking
Oversee daily fund flow vendor payments receivables and payables.
Coordinate with banks for credit facility management stock/book debt statements and other banking operations.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team across locations including plant and head office.
Act as the escalation point for all finance and accounting issues guiding teams toward timely resolution.
Coordinate closely with Operations Procurement Sales HR and leadership teams to support business activities

Process Improvement & Systems Implementation
Provide guidance for new system implementations or enhancements of existing ERP modules.
Analyze current processes and design improved workflows for accuracy efficiency and better internal controls.
Support company-wide ERP implementation to strengthen financial and operational reporting.

Strategic Financial Initiatives
Assist management in budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning
Perform financial analysis for new projects expansions or acquisitions.
Ensure confidentiality and reliability in handling sensitive financial information

Key Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting standards financial reporting and audit practices.
Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements MIS and variance analysis
Thorough understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing
Strong command over GST TDS and statutory compliance for manufacturing entities.
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities handle pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent English communication skillswritten and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
Willingness to be hands-on and deeply involved in daily finance operations

Qualification & Experience
Exposure to plant finance and manufacturing accounting is mandatory.
Ability to independently manage full finance function.
Self-driven disciplined and capable of taking complete ownership.
Proactive approach with fast and sound decision-making capability.
CA Qualified (Mandatory).
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance within the manufacturing sector.
Experience in ERP systems and financial automation tools preferred.
