Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
8 years in BI / Analytics with 5 years in Power BI.
Strong expertise in:
Power BI Desktop & Service
DAX (advanced calculations performance tuning)
Data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
Power Query / M
Experience integrating multiple data sources (SQL APIs Excel cloud data sources).
Understanding of security models (RLS) and deployment pipelines.
Business & Domain Skills
Strong ability to understand business processes KPIs and domain-specific metrics.
Experience translating ambiguous business needs into structured analytics solutions.
Comfortable challenging assumptions and providing analytical recommendations.
Leadership & Communication
Proven experience leading small BI teams.
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
Ability to balance delivery execution with strategic thinking.
Good to Have
Experience with Azure data stack (Azure SQL Synapse Data Factory).
Exposure to data governance data quality and analytics standards.
Prior consulting or client delivery experience.
Experience working in Agile / sprint-based delivery models.
