- Support the Center Director with daily operations including staffing scheduling enrollment support and classroom coverage
- Coach mentor and develop Lead Teachers to strengthen performance and retention
- Ensure strong consistent implementation of the L.E.A.P. Curriculum across classrooms
- Maintain compliance with NYS OCFS licensing health and safety requirements
- Partner with teachers to support positive family communication and engagement
- Step in to problem-solve staffing classroom or parent concerns quickly and professionally
- Help build a positive accountable team-first culture
- Experience in a licensed childcare preschool or early learning center
- Proven leadership youve supported or led teams not just classrooms
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
- Organized calm under pressure and comfortable multitasking
- Confident communicator with both staff and families
- Meets New York State OCFS requirements for an Assistant Director role
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Preferred (Not Required)
