Terros Healthis now hiring a Crisis Specialist Support Supervisor at our Kingman Location.

Schedule:Full Time

40 hours per week

Behavioral Health Experience Required Licensure Preferred

(Masters degree i.e. MA MC MSW in a Behavioral Health Field)

Arizona Licensed: LCSW LPC LISAC LMSW LAC LASAC or LMFT in Good Standing

Position Summary: The Clinical Crisis Supervisor helps develop staff to provide excellent customer service interventions documentation skills and problem-solving ability. Provides documented clinical and administrative supervision to crisis specialists according to departmental and OBHL requirements.

In addition responds on-site to individuals in crisis whose issues cannot be resolved by the Crisis Response Networks Central or Northern Arizona Crisis Call Center telephonically. Utilizing best practices in crisis intervention the Clinical Crisis Supervisor responds to and supports individuals and families in crisis. Participates in the Crisis Department on-call rotation as applicable if licensed with the state of Arizona.

Duties May Include:

  • Conduct psychosocial and comprehensive behavioral health assessments during crisis situations and outpatient support including psychotherapeutic interventions and immediate treatment/safety planning across diverse settings such as individual residences schools and hospital emergency departments.
  • Provides clinical and administrative oversight to Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) level staff with responsibilities adjusted based on licensure status. Supports Central and Northern Arizona Managers through clinical review of documentation ensuring quality and compliance with behavioral health standards.
  • Leads staff training and development initiatives delivering clinical instruction in triage screening crisis assessment de-escalation and resolution strategies peer intervention interdisciplinary coordination crisis planning and follow-up care.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Leads and Leadership across all crisis locations to design implement and disseminate internal training programs while securing resources for external training continuing education (CE) opportunities and advanced credentialing pathways for departmental staff.
  • Ensure staff deliver exceptional customer service to clients payer sources and community stakeholders including law enforcement fire departments and healthcare providers.
  • If holding a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) associate license or higher provides clinical supervision to assigned Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) at least once every two weeks for a minimum of 30 minutes
  • Complete at a minimum one ride-along per week.
  • Schedule staff to support consistent and responsive field observation adjusting as needed to meet clinical and operational demands.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in crisis intervention clinical supervision and employee management.

Qualifications

      • Education Bachelors degree in Behavioral Health Healthcare Business Administration or a closely related field.
      • Masters degree or higher in the field of behavioral health (e.g. Psychology Social Work Counseling)
      • Years experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
      • Preferred - Arizona Behavioral Health licensure or ability to obtain licensure within four (4) months.
      • Preferred -One year of experience practicing in one of the licenses listed below.
      • Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)
      • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
      • Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC)
      • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
      • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
      • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
      • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
      • Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
      • Mustbe able to work well and tactfully with individuals and groups.
      • Must have valid Arizona drivers license be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Healths driving policy.
      • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
      • Must have the ability to perform first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
      • Operate a vehicle safely at various times of day/night depending upon hours worked.
      • Ability to perform physical demands associated with this role.
