Job Summary
Job Description: IT Support Technician at Current Control Inc
Current Control Inc a leading provider of services to the paper & pulp textile and oil & gas industries is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team. As an IT Support Technician you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to internal users within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support to end-users for hardware software and network-related issues
- Install configure and maintain computer hardware software and peripherals
- Set up and support user accounts and profiles
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Ensure systems are secure and up-to-date with antivirus protection
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement technology solutions
- Document and update IT processes and procedures
- Train users on basic IT functions and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a focus on customer service
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT supportExperience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Certifications such as CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80000 - $118000 annually
