Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct the development implementation and ongoing maintenance of Boeing training software products

• Decompose program application strategy and requirements into measurable features user stories and technical development tasks. Work with UI/UX team to capture specific visual requirements where applicable

• Define detailed technical acceptance criteria for testing and product acceptance. Responsible for final approval once team is complete

• Identify communicate and track status of architectural and upstream/downstream development team dependencies

• Direct software development by following development roadmap and functionality firing order

• Constantly identifying/mitigating product risks and removing development obstacles

• Achieve and confirm software training products meet non-functional requirements and adhere to architecture

• Provide subject matter expertise to the technical teams on product personas and backlog use cases

• Champion Agile Development

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 6 years of work experience in a software development environment

• 4 years experience working on external customer-facing product owner role

• 3 years experience managing both new development and production-driven statement of work

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex product system and delivery issues identifying root causes across people process and technology.

• Ability to break down rough/ambiguously defined problems into structured testable components teams can act on.

• Able to facilitate rapid decision making in high-pressure or ambiguous situations balancing speed quality and risk in Production and / or Customer-Facing environment

• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify potential risks and failure modes addressing issues before they impact customers or delivery timelines

• Experience spans the entire SDLC from strategy build out to monitor and management of production product.

• Bachelors Degree in computer science information system or other relevant field
