Reports to: Health Access Program Director
Bilingual premium for qualifying languages is 3.5% higher than starting salary if pass bilingual exam on first week of hire.

Position Summary: The Senior Health Access Program Manager is responsible for supervising eight Health Access Program Coordinators in the Denver offices of CHN as well as administrative and fiscal staff. Facilitates relationship with staff at Denver-based medical clinics in which CHN Health Access personnel are co-located.

Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience highly desired. Previous experience with and understanding of health insurance and public benefits (Medicare Medicaid employer marketplace/off-market enrollment and/or insurance billing processes). A strong preference for completion of Connect for Health training and at least one open enrollment season. Experience with direct client contact and/or a customer service background. Background in programs rooted in serving People Living with HIV. Strong commitment to working within a diverse setting with diverse populations. Consistently seeking opportunities to improve ability to provide inclusive and trauma-informed approaches in client services. Ability to collaborate effectively with small and large teams within CHN regional offices. Ability to prioritize workload and function independently. Training in cultural competency is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Recruits and maintains high quality staff. Ensures appropriate and adequate staffing and scheduling. Sets expectations of teamwork within and across departments and models collaborative behavior. Understands and communicates CHN mission and values along with relevant policies and procedures to staff members. Reviews quality of paperwork data entry session notes and referrals. Assists staff to improve their skills and identify training and professional development needs.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance Human Services Social Work and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field required. Importantly candidates with lived experience can substitute educational experience.
Software Utilized:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel Outlook and Teams is required. Candidates should be comfortable working with client database systems and learning new software tools as needed.
Knowledge Skill and Ability:
Knowledge of and sensitivity to HIV / AIDS challenges. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Highly organized and detail oriented. This position requires personal and professional accountability; self-management and initiative; dedication to quality improvement professional integrity and cultural competency. Must demonstrate accuracy and efficiency. Must demonstrate effectiveness in the following areas: task management; teamwork; time management; and communication with teams managers clients and funder/ contractors. Must have flexibility creativity collaborative and a positive workplace attitude in a team dynamic. Requires strong critical thinking active listening and problem-solving skills to address complex situations. Previous experience in the delivery of evidenced-based programs is highly preferred as well as excellent communication client services and data collection skills. The appropriate person will be highly organized and detail-oriented. This position requires personal and professional accountability; self-management and initiative; dedication to quality improvement; professional integrity; research ethics and cultural competency. Must demonstrate accuracy efficiency and superior organizational skills. Must demonstrate effectiveness in the following areas: task and time management; teamwork; and communication with teams managers clients and participants and company consultants.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
Works with computer workstations laptops servers and standard office equipment. Works with software including electronic health records client/patient data systems word processing spreadsheet and presentation software as well as with online systems. Communicates with partner organizations and vendors using telephone e-mail the Internet and fax.
