Job Title: Senior Multimedia Producer
Location: Boston MA 02128 (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Position Summary
The Senior Multimedia Producer supports the Deputy Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing by leading all video photography and event production initiatives within a fast-paced in-house marketing and communications department.
This role combines production leadership creative direction and hands-on execution across social media digital broadcast and live event platforms. The position oversees internal teams freelance creatives and agency partners while ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Production Oversight
- Lead and manage in-house and external videographers photographers editors and freelance creatives
- Provide art direction and visual storytelling guidance aligned with brand standards and campaign goals
- Collaborate with marketing social media brand strategy and executive stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables
- Serve as primary liaison to external creative agencies and production vendors
- Ensure consistent execution quality control and adherence to deadlines
Pre-Production & Production Management
- Oversee end-to-end production workflows (pre-production production post-production)
- Develop storyboards scripts call sheets shot lists production schedules permits and release forms
- Manage project budgets resource allocation and vendor sourcing
- Coordinate freelance talent production crews and third-party vendors
On-Site Production Direction
- Serve as on-site production lead line producer and director for photo and video shoots
- Manage logistics including locations staffing equipment props and talent coordination
- Operate production equipment (lighting audio teleprompter) as required
- Ensure content meets creative brand and strategic standards
Post-Production & Asset Management
- Partner with editors to guide pacing structure music direction and visual style
- Manage review cycles in and ensure brand compliance
- Archive final assets maintain backup storage and manage legal documentation
- Maintain comprehensive photo and video libraries
- Upload and manage content across digital platforms including social media channels and digital screens
Event Production & Execution
- Support production of meetings activations and large-scale events
- Develop run-of-show documentation and event production plans
- Coordinate staging audiovisual (AV) photography videography and vendor logistics
- Oversee on-site event operations including check-ins and release management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Multimedia Production Communications Marketing Film or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of professional experience in video production photography and event production
- Experience in agency studio corporate or public sector production environments
- Proven track record producing content for digital social media broadcast and live events
- Portfolio or demo reel required
Technical Skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop Lightroom)
- Final Cut Pro
