Job Summary

Locum - Physician - Oncology

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center in Redding CA. This facility offers a supportive environment with a midlevel provider assisting with patient flow. As a solo provider you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care while collaborating with ER physicians and hospitalists for any admissions.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct all aspects of Diagnosis Staging Precision Medicine and Treatment of Hematology/Oncology Patients.
Provide MD oversight for the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services.
Ensure the Infusion Center is staffed and managed efficiently providing Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Blood/Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy and more.
Collaborate with the support staff including nurses and medical assistants to ensure excellent patient care.
Participate in hospital consults and provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology REQUIRED
California Medical License REQUIRED
Completion of a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology REQUIRED
Current DEA registration and ACLS certification REQUIRED for Moderate Sedation Privileges
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

California Medical License
ABMS Board Certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology
DEA Registration
ACLS Certification (PALS for Pediatric Patients if applicable)
