About the role and where you will be working:

The Senior Scheduler is responsible for supporting efficient and effective scheduling of Home Care employees by providing support and guidance to the Scheduling Team. This position supports the achievement of the high standard of service to our clients and staff by driving opportunities for continuous improvement. Previous experience using Sandwai scheduling software or similar highly preferred.

This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home one or two days per week.

Well also be asking you to:-

  • Provide guidance and support to the scheduling team
  • Ensuring the roster is prepared and published 2 weeks prior to commencement
  • Respond to SW enquiries re: scheduling issues.
  • Creation and maintenance of Scheduling Team roster including WFH day and assigned duties to ensure adequate coverage in each area at all times.
  • Assist with management of scheduler leave
  • Utilisation reporting to identify areas of need in a timely manner to support recruiting of SW

To be considered for this role youll need:

Strong understanding of scheduling in a fast paced high volume environment

Ability to work with a team to deliver a high standard of scheduling services

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to follow risk management strategies identify and report hazards and adhere to work health and safety policies and procedures

Confidence using Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new systems
