We are now seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager join our growing team in WA. Reporting to the Regional General Manager WA you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio in the resource industry.

About you and the role

Drawing on your proven network and knowledge of communication infrastructure remote site communications and wireless technology sales into the mining/resource/oil and gas industries you will work collaboratively with our Executive and Senior Management team in the development and execution of a Business Development Strategy based around current capabilities and future directions of the company.

You will be required to promote Titans ICT services and develop strong relationships with our existing customers as well as build new relationships with those clients new to our portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactive identification and development of new business opportunities into sales
  • Development of networks and contacts to ensure the ongoing promotion of Titans ICT services products and offerings.
  • Ensuring a pipeline exists to support agreed business growth objectives.
  • Work proactively with potential clients to determine opportunities and utilise internal Subject Matter Experts where appropriate.
  • Undertake and manage the production and submission of Proposals and Tenders in line with Titans quality systems and client requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with the Principal Consultants in carrying out contract negotiations regarding service delivery.
  • Overseeing the sales cycle from identification of opportunities to implementation by the Project Team.
  • Identification of marketing campaigns and collateral to add value to the business development cycle.
  • Working collaboratively with Project Managers.

It is essential that you have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Have an existing network in the WA mining and/or oil and gas sectors
  • Significant previous experience of business development within an engineering environment
  • Significant previous experience within a business development role in solutions selling.
  • Previous experience within an ICT environment (or similar)
  • Knowledge of key vendors such as Cisco; Nokia; Aruba and Fortinet
  • Demonstrate superior client management and customer care skills along with superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be a strategic thinker and considering external forces industry trends technology and internal strengths to achieve business objectives.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or industry certifications
