Recognised by the AFR as one of the Best Places to Work in Manufacturing & Consumer Goods were looking for a high-impact Production Manager to lead the production team at our Melbourne Fulfilment Centre.
This is a critical leadership role where youll own production performance drive operational excellence and lead a large team in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Your Role
Lead the end-to-end production function delivering quality products safely efficiently and on time
Plan and execute production schedules across all brands to meet volume cost and quality targets
Own production performance including KPIs across efficiency safety quality and cost
Manage labour planning and workforce allocation to align with production demand
Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Logistics Purchasing Quality and People teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity quality and operational efficiency
Lead coach and develop Team Leads fostering a high-performance and accountable culture
What You Bring
57 years experience in production or operations leadership (FMCG/manufacturing preferred)
Strong understanding of production processes quality and food safety
Proven ability to lead large teams and drive performance outcomes
Experience managing KPIs and using data to improve operations
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
