About The Role:
The Business Development Manager with contractor management ensures leading the acquisition of new business contracts and client relationships to drive business growth specifically related to facility management solutions such as cleaning gardening rubbish removal tree service repairs and maintenance services. you will manage and coordinate contractors and service providers entrusted to deliver these facility maintenance projects ensuring quality compliance and timely execution. This dual role is crucial for expanding our footprint in the facility maintenance market while ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition in facility maintenance (commercial industrial residential)
Build and manage relationships with facility managers property owners and stakeholders
Lead and support contract negotiations with Legal and senior management
Oversee subcontractors technicians and vendors from onboarding to project completion
Coordinate scheduling resources and vendor performance to meet SLAs and deadlines
Ensure quality control safety compliance and contractual adherence on-site
Resolve operational issues conflicts and client feedback proactively
Collaborate with Sales Legal Operations and Finance for smooth execution and profitability
Report on pipeline contract progress and contractor performance to leadership
Manage risk ensure compliance and minimize disputes
Track KPIs including contract value revenue growth delivery performance client satisfaction and retention

What You Need to Succeed:
Proven success in business development client acquisition or sales ideally in contract-driven industries such as construction consulting or project services
Experience managing contractors vendors or external service providers
Strong negotiation interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently with a results-driven hands-on approach
Solid knowledge of contract structures risk management and operational logistics
Analytical skills with experience in performance monitoring and reporting
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
Current drivers licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.
Hold current police check or willing to obtain.
