Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Training Consultant (0.6FTE - 3 days a week days negotiable) to join the team at Work & Training!
We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant to deliver training and assessment services to clients face to face in the workplace as well as aclassroom environment for the qualifications:
- BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills
- BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
- BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business
Work & Training is a large Tasmanian private registered training organisation. We have offices and specialist training facilities in Devonport Launceston and Moonah. We train in excess of 500 Tasmanians per year across a range of industries in both pre-employment courses and those employed by Tasmanian businesses.
Extensive and current industry experience and qualifications are essential as is a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 TAE40116 or TAE40122).
Key Selection Criteria:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher or be willing to work towards
- Significant and current industry experience in a business environment
- Hold relevant vocational competencies
- Current valid drivers licence
- A sound knowledge of the requirements of the Standards for RTOs
- Ability to manage a classroom and on-the-job trainees
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills and ability to cater to a diverse range of people and organisations
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft office programs
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as a member of a team
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
