The Director of Finance- IRF supports and trains hospital Directors of Finance as well as assisting the AVPs and VP of Finance with various projects. Directs the departments activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission values and objectives of the department and organization.
How youll contribute
ADirector of Finance- IRFwho excels in this role:
- Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards that meet requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
- Ability to travel as needed.

What were looking for
Applicants should have aBachelors degree required; Bachelor degree in Finance Business or Accounting preferred with 8 yrs of finance or accounting experience/ healthcare experience preferred with a strong background in financial budgeting problem solving and proven leadership
